O’erwatch

The Team.

Created by Patrick Troy-Brandt, Gray Thurstone, and Harrison Tipping. All three met in the Day Conservatory at Stella Adler in 2018. Patrick is an actor, creator, and veteran; Gray is an actor and writer, and Harrison is an actor from Wales.

The Big Idea.

How has modern technology affected warfare - from the perspective on soldiers with boots on the ground to that of occupied populations? The increased use of drones in combat strips the people involved of their humanity and creates a new avenue for Post Traumatic Stress.

We wanted to explore these concepts through the lens of absurdity. We hoped to highlight redundant and or harmful technology through bizarre costuming and prop usage. Are soldiers actually being equipped with what they need to protect themselves both mentally and physically?

Making Theater

O’erwatch premiered at the 2025 Chain Theatre Summer One-Act Festival. The purpose of this run was to explore and develop it further. Patrick and Gray are now working on adapting this piece into a short film.

A Play Directed by Keanu Reeves - Part II

Created by Gray Thurstone and Jeremy McClelland (written by), A Play Directed by Keanu Reeves - Part II is a modern farcical adaptation of Waiting for Godot in which two very different actors show up for the first day of rehearsal of a play apparently directed by Keanu Reeves. Will they get along - and more importantly, will Keanu show up?
